Yippee, Livejournal is back up! You guys rock!
We got our internet connection installed yesterday and when I found out LJ was down I was bummed to say the least. Kind of makes me wish I had something to offer to them in the way of skills but I don't.
I'm doing laundry! I never thought I'd be excited about that. We got our washer and dryer on Thursday--I couldn't get away from work, so my sister came up here to wait for them. She called me later and said they didn't hook up the dryer because they were told not to and they didn't hook up the washer because the thing was rusted to the other thing.
Um...mkay.
Our washer is a front-loader. There's a window in it. I sat there and watched it for a few minutes, thusly proving that I am SUCH a nerd. It's really quiet though, and normally that's a good thing but it means that I won't be able to tell when it's done. Eh well.
Haven't tried the dryer yet. It's a gas dryer. I'm a bit of a nutcase about this.
Next I'm going to fill out one of them big-ass surveys again and post it, just because I have internet connectivity back. And I need to find my phone at some point, for I have a phone line now too.
